Paneer Peas Pulao | Cottage Cheese Peas Rice
Paneer Peas Pulao is an easy one pot comfort meal.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Basmati rice
- 1 medium Onion cut lengthwise
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 cup Green peas
- 3-4 slit Green chillies
- 1 cup cubed Paneer
- 2 tsp Butter
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 tsp Jeera/Cumin
- 3-4 Cloves
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 1 Green cardamom
- 1 tbsp. Mint leaves roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp. Coriander leaves roughly chopped
- Salt to taste
- Water 1.5 cup or as required

Instructions
- Soak basmati rice in 1.5 cup water for 30 minutes.
- In a pan, add 1 tsp butter. Spread it around the pan and fry the paneer till they are brown. Keep it aside once it's done.
- In same pan heat ½ tsp oil, sauté cumin, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves. cinnamon & green chillies.
- Then add onions and sauté till translucent.
- Then add the Ginger garlic paste. Sauté until intense smell of ginger garlic paste is gone.
- Add green peas and fry for few minutes & then add mint and coriander leaves.
- Add water (approx. 1.5 cup) which is used to soak basmati rice, wait until it comes to boil and add salt as required.
- Rice needs to be added now and close the pan with lid, let it cook in low flame for 15 minutes.
- After 15 min let it cool for 10 min and later add fried paneer cubes, mix gently.
- Serve with your favourite spicy gravy.
